Keating Resources bought 1,325 mountaintop acres fronting I-90, overlooking Spearfish and Centennial Valley, on October 8.
Alec Keating, Partner with Keating Resources, said that the purchase of the land, which was owned by the same entity for nearly a half-century, was rare and an opportunity to create another unique and special residential community within Spearfish.
He said the firm is considering plans to divide the land into 40-acre parcels for residential development taking advantage of the spectacular views and privacy.
